The Folger Shakespeare Library is delighted to welcome a new cohort of wildly inquisitive and imaginative students! This year’s Lily McKee High School Fellows hail from a range of local high schools and have just begun their adventure of exploring Shakespeare from all kinds of perspectives.
From September 9th to December 9th, McKee Fellows will form a community of learners gathered around resources and expertise found only at the Folger. Focusing on the play 1 Henry IV, they will ask big questions, have seminars with scholars, conduct archival research in the Reading Rooms, give presentations on rare materials, and perform their own scenes 1 Henry IV on the Folger stage.
We can’t wait to hear what they have to say back to Shakespeare.
