Teaching Shakespeare!

A Folger Education Blog

Holiday Hiatus for the Blog—but Forsooth! Buzzes On!

Teaching Colleagues,

Happy holidays to you and yours!
We hope the season brings you abundant peace and joy.

The Teaching Shakespeare! blog will be taking a short winter break until January 10th, at which point we’ll return with new teaching resources.

Think you’ll have a Shakespeare teaching emergency before then? Or maybe you just want to talk to other teachers over the break, now that you’ve got some time to reflect and plan ahead? Not to worry! Our new online home for teachers—called Forsooth! and living at teachingshakespeare.folger.edu—is buzzing around the clock, with a steadily growing community of teachers, discussions, lessons, multimedia, and primary source documents from the Folger vault. Hundreds of teachers, instructional coaches, librarians, curriculum leads, and teacher educators have joined as Teacher Members of the Folger Library, and we’d love for you to join, too, and build this exciting new home with us.

Sending you lots of love and hoping to connect with you more deeply on Forsooth!
